Products

When the customer is viewing and editing the photo in the product it is shown as realistic as possible so that the customer is able to see how the finished product will look like. Download only colour files to photography events. Customer can change the photos to black and white or sepia tone in the online ordering system. Products are physical products you can hold in your hands.

Own products

Currently you can create some products of your own to the system. Simple and basic photo products like photo- or sticker sheets and different photo sizes you can create freely. Also you can add some virtual products like photos in passepartouts or frames if there is  a "product template" that you can copy and modify as a new product.  With a Create custom product -tool you can create your own passepartout, thank you -card or a picture frame (what kind of a passepartout or frame the picture is going to be put on). Products can also have different materials or finishings that can have different price. You can add them on your price list by clicking the settings wheel on the product line and add a product option group.

Here is an example how to make e.g. Passepartout photo:

  1. go to administration / settings / pricelists

  2. click own products and Create custom product -tool

  3. choose a base product or to Create completely new product

  4. download sample overlay image and save it to your computer

  5. open it to photoshop and open the picture of your own passepartout

  6. edit your own passepartout picture so that it is similar to the example picture. Make a hole to the layers space where clients photo will be shown. Save it as png file. 

  7. fill in name and select category

  8. upload overlay image as png (the picture with the frame and hole where the photo will show)

  9. save

  10. now the product is ready to be chosen to the pricelist

Here is an example how you can add a 10x15 cm or 15x20 cm frame to your selection: 

  1. go to administration / settings / pricelists

  2. click own products and create custom product -tool

  3. choose a base product or to create completely new product

  4. click download sample overlay image

  5. make a photoshop file and save it as PNG. Cut a hole to the example photo where the picture will show. The hole has been measured so that 0,5 cm of the picture will be under the frame from every side (the area that will go over the picture has been marked darker). You can adjust the area decreasing or increasing the hole. Do not increase it to the lighter grey area or there will be empty space between the frame and the picture.

  6. fill in name and product measures (you can leave depth empty) 

  7. upload overlay image as png (the picture with the frame and hole where the photo will show)

  8. save

  9. now the product is ready to be chosen to the pricelist

Test your new product in your own gallery with your pictures so that you can see it works and show's your picture inside the passepartout. More special products such as mugs, keychains, plush toys, large prints on different materials etc. are added through our programmers. We have a pricelist and timetable to do more individual products to the system.
